In 2010 Danielle met Lauren while photographing Scene kids in Spokane, WA. Throughout the years she has shared her journey of being a Jehovah's Witness. After leaving the church when she was 15, Lauren was officially disfellowed. Presently she is planning her wedding for late 2012 and expecting her first child. On the verge of motherhood, she realizes that would like to return to her faith & more importantly, the community, but is unable to, as she is seen as a disgrace. She invited Danielle back to WA in the summer of 2011 to photograph her at this important crossroad with her sister and fiance. She is 20 years old.
