For Newsweek Danielle traveled to Louisiana to photograph Hillary Toucey & her son, Eli. Eli suffers from a raft of health problems: cerebral palsy, celiac’s disease, epilepsy, asthma, and what his mom calls “pretty severe” autism. Hillary is hoping to receive assistance from the government in the form of a Personal Care Attendant, which would allow her freedom to study & work, & provide better for Eli & her 2 other children. Hillary & Eli were a wonderful pair to be around. Such trust & love.
